VAT
VAT stands for Value Added Tax and is currently
set at 17.5%. This is a tax on services levied
by the UK government which is included in all
the above prices. Some organisations and companies
are able to claim their VAT back, including internal
SA bookings.
Non
Smoking
& Unlicensed
Cliff House is both a non-smoking and an unlicensed
temperance venue, a policy which we believe contributes
to an atmosphere conducive to the majority of
delegates.

About the Rates
The rates below which relate accommodation are
for en suite rooms, and are quoted per person,
per night. All rates are subject to availability,
and are inclusive of VAT at the current rate. Organisers need to be aware the centre is non-smoking throughout and does not have an alcohol license (nor do we not accept corkage or consumption of alcohol onsite).
The difference between room grades (standard,
superior and superior plus) relate to the
size and location of the rooms, and are not taken
into account when arriving at the group/residential
rates - the prices reflect an averaging out, and
delegates should be informed of room grade differentials
before arrival.

facilities and to protect both the centre and
the delegates.
Reductions
There is a special Salvation Army Departmental
Tariff for residential conferences, extended
to SA departments on official business. Please
ask reservations
for details.
